Services Overview
Overseas Recruitment
With
our offices in China, Philippines, Bulgaria and Eastern Europe we
are well positioned to cover these regions. Our staffs are all citizens
of their countries, knowledgeable in local matters and are at the
forefront of the recruitment process, ensuring standard selection
and interview processes are applied, as well as rigorous and confidential
reference checks taken up.
Police clearance certificates, medical checks and visa requirements
are all expedited. All these actions are designed primarily to meet
the needs and demands of the UK immigration and Work permits bureau
as well as satisfying our mandate to supply appropriately qualified
and suitably trained nursing staff.
Nursing staff
- REGISTERED NURSES: With NMC pin numbers
are currently being supplied to major nursing homes within the
UK.

- NURSES: Registered in their home country,
are required, in most cases, to undergo an NMC approved adaptation
program. We have a bank of nurses ready for this program as well
as a number of nurses currently on the program. All these nurses
have many years of practical nursing experience.
- SENIOR CARERS: These form the backbone
of any nursing facility, providing bedside care and hands on nursing.
Our NVQ3s are no exception. With at least 5 years of relevant
and recent experience behind them (our nurses are averaging 8
years) they more than comply with the relevant criteria and are
being placed in nursing homes, which qualify, as senior carers
around the UK.
General Staff
- CHEFS/COOKS: We are able to offer
you Chefs and Cooks who have experience in providing a variety
of meals, as directed by your Head Chef. These would be staff
that have a diverse experience in cooking in restaurants, cruise
liners, army and hospital messes, fast food outlets etc. Some
will be able to assume the position of Head Chef; however the
vast majority would be working as Sous Chef or Second in Charge.
Have sufficient English skills to be able to adequately communicate
with fellow staff and are able to duplicate menu requirements.
-
CARERS:
These positions are being filled by young women, (usually)
who have expressed an interest in learning about care giving and
who would require basic training. They could include young women
who have looked after an elderly relative or friend or had NO
experience in care giving and are coming to do this work for the
first time. Occasionally we come across student nurses who have
had to abandon their nurse training, usually due to financial
constraints. They would usually come from the newly joined EU
states (often limited English) or from former African Commonwealth
Countries, (fluent English) under the two year Commonwealth Working
Holiday Visa scheme.
- DOMESTIC CLEANERS / KITCHEN ASSISTANTS: These
positions are being filled by young men & women from EU member
states, who are looking for regular safe employment, within the
private sector. They come from diverse backgrounds, could have,
though not necessarily, Basic English speaking skills, but are
NOT afraid to WORK. Their main duties would include the cleaning
(vacuum cleaning, dusting, bathroom and toilet cleaning) etc of
assigned cleaning stations, as directed by the employer.
Overseas Staff Contracts
The various different contracts which are offered according to
our clients' requirements all have one thing in common. They enjoy
the same terms and conditions, rates of pay and allowances as their
English counterparts.
Contracts of employment are sent out to our overseas offices who
distribute them to the candidates. Job Connection staffs go over
the the contract details with the candidate and ensure that there
is nothing misunderstood. Once the candidate is satisfied, the contract
is signed as accepted and returned to the UK office.

If you would like to us to secure a candidate(s) for you please
view our procedure and then contact
us.
