British Citizenship

You can become a British Citizen by applying for Naturalisation.

For individuals who are married to UK Citizens, they can apply for their naturalisation 1 year after acquiring their IRL. Usually a total of 3yrs should have been spent in the UK without being out of the country for a certain number of days.

For individual who have the ILR, they can apply for naturalization 1 year after acquiring their IRL. Usually a total of 6yrs should have been spent in the UK without being out of the country for a certain number of days.

You will also be required to have enough knowledge of language and life In the United Kingdom.
